At the beginning of the year, Thomas will issue an assessment based on your skill level and then design a customized course and practice-plan specifically for you. Thomas Lang and his wife Elizabeth Lang will regularly coach you in basic business skills, social media, marketing, promotion and sales.
You will enjoy group tasks like performing as a drum line; recording and producing music; producing promotional videos; writing basic press releases; and bios; learning about social media; learning how to publicize yourself or your band; learning about music licensing and much more.
You will be able to record and film your practice and performances in order to correct mistakes and evaluate your progress. You will have to opportunity to get feedback from the most competent teachers and artists in our field. You will be able to participate in drumming contests with direct support and coaching from Thomas Lang and other world-class teachers.
As a student with the TLPDA, if your project and business plan qualifies- you will have the chance to write, record, release, promote and sell your music, not just as a theoretical exercise but as an actual product released with worldwide distribution on MUSO Entertainment Records and a standard revenue sharing agreement between you and MUSO Entertainment.
